Greensgrow is an urban farm, CSA pick-up spot, and community hub in the Kensington neighborhood of Philadelphia. Greensgrow was founded in 1997 on a degraded plot of urban land, and since then it has grown into a dynamic staple of the community. Through Greensgrow, community members have access to green space and fresh food, the opportunity to learn about food production, and a space in which to meet and spend time with neighbors. Beyond what they grow onsite, Greensgrow supports farmers in the region by putting together a weekly CSA box filled with local food.
